Pocket sealing / L-shaped sealing / Cuff sealing
Suitable for packaging individual products or products placed on trays; offers solutions for various product shapes, optimizes packaging material usage, and streamlines production.
L-Sealing:
Products are fed automatically (or manually) to the packaging station, drawing the film along with them. An L-shaped sealing and cutting blade performs simultaneous transverse and longitudinal sealing and cutting, creating an L-shaped heat-seal pattern. This process is often paired with a heat-shrink tunnel to ensure the film conforms tightly to the product, providing dust and moisture protection.
Applications: Hardware, stationery, boxed gifts, books, daily necessities, and other items requiring four-sided sealing or an attractive finish for single or multi-item bundles.
Sleeve Sealing:
A mechanism automatically pushes the product forward while drawing the upper and lower films together for heat sealing. The process leaves the sides open (resembling a sleeve), sealing the film only at the top and bottom (or front and back). It is often paired with a heat-shrink tunnel to shrink the open ends tightly around the product.
Applications: Large cartons, bottled beverages (e.g., multipacks of aluminum cans or plastic bottles), and bulk packaging for boxed or canned goods.
